Das schreibt John Gulliver:

The B100 was introduced at the same time as the twin manual B250. (ca.1980) Both of these portables were manufactured by Nihon-Hammond in Japan. Very few of these organs were shipped to Europe, which makes them even difficult to find these days. Slightly larger numbers of the B250 were brought in.
The story behind the B100 is a bit vague. One source claims that the introduction of the Korg CX-3 in 1979 effectively killed off the competition. Indeed, the CX-3 was a very successful organ, and a pretty good impersonator of the classic tonewheel sound. The other thought is that 1980 was just about the peak of the synthesiser boom and organs were not the flavour of the month. This is a real shame for Hammond players because the B100 is a fantastic portable organ.
It has a very good basic sound and some good features, whilst being minimal in design and appearance. The best feature on B100, by far, is the variable warmth, which is essentially and over-drive effect. No other portable can achieve this without a valve 122 or 147. The B100 sits in a black, chunky case with silver trimmed edges – really cool.
I think you are getting the message – I love this organ. The basic sound of the B100 is verry good and a lot fun to play.
